The origin of NIKE

I think people all over the world has heard of the famous brand of NIKE. But had you ever think about its origin? do you know why it was named nike?

               

NIKE is a American brand which is much familiar with us. In 1971, philkinpht, who is the founder of blue ribbon sporting goods company, in order to expand the Asian market, to improve the company's image, he decided to make a name for the company. The boss offered the name of  "six degrees space" fame, which was denied  by the company’s staff. Finally the boss asked al the staff to put forward a better name before the time limited as prescribed, otherwise he will adhere to the "six degrees space" fame, and this term was only 12 hours. The only a full-time staff of the company,Jeff Johnson, used the time difference between the two areas, delayed three hours, thinking harderwith his brain, but the progress is not evident. He was so tired that he fell asleep quickly,  Jeff,who like the ancient Greek literature  made a dream, in the dream he met the ancient Greek legend grasp the victory goddess Nike, the goddess of dreams bring him the inspiration, so he put forward with Nike (Nike) as the blue ribbon of the company's new name, which was get the boss's approval. In 1978, celanese corporation generated sales exceeded $100 million later, blue ribbon sports company was officially changed its name to Nike, and this name, today has become the pronoun of millions of assets.

As for the the famous "hooks" shape graphics of Nike brand, it is bought with $35 , which was designed by a Atlanta designing students’ creation. Now people see hooked graphics much smaller than the original one, but it expressed a strong sense of speed and excitement.
